RUSTIC SUMMER WEDDING IN PILOT HILL CALIFORNIA
June 27th 2020 - The most beautiful summer day for a country wedding.
James and Christina are the kind of people you just love to be around. They are always smiling and putting good vibes out into the world and just all around the nicest people you'll ever meet.
I first bonded with Christina over our love for the original Rockstar energy drinks - and after getting to know her more I realized that she is seriously my long lost soul sister. At their engagement photos we took shots together and laughed our butts off the whole time. We have been dreaming about her wedding day and chatting like school girls about so many random things. And when their wedding day rolled around it was nothing less than a fairytale.
Christina and James first met when James was working at a bar that she used to go to on the regular. But she hadn't been in awhile and met up with some girlfriends for a girls night out. The girls were talking and Christina told them how handsome she thought James was after one friend told her to "sit down" because he turns down all the girls. Christina told me she went up to him anyway and they had made small talk and after that she went back in a couple times and convinced him to help out with an event at the bar that she was going to be working at!
Christina said "It took some strategy but after a couple weeks they started dating, and then quickly moved in together". There was a period of time where the two had broken up but eventually they linked up again over friendly conversation and went to dinner to catch up. And well...the rest is history.
James was working out of town in San Jose for awhile and Christina would go down to see him from time to time. These two really like to adventure to different areas down there, and Santa Cruz was one of their favorites! One of the weekends they went to Santa Cruz, James got down on one knee and asked Christina to marry him.
Their wedding day was romantic, and had me in tears throughout the day. Christina and James have a love that is just plastered across their faces. These two adore each other.
At the end of the night when I was saying goodbye to James he couldn't take his eyes off of her and just kept telling me how he wanted to give her everything she wanted and more. So with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes I left their wedding with the warmest heart knowing that THIS is exactly why I do what I do.
It's not about taking pretty pictures, it's about hearing how much two people love each other. It's about every tiny moment and every big step in a couple's journey. Marriage is such a beautiful thing and I am forever grateful I got to be a part of the beginning for these two.
To Mr. & Mrs. Sebastiani - Thank you for everything and may all your future endeavors be the greatest of adventures.
